What we collect

When you register, we collect:

• Your full name and WhatsApp number.
• Your country, and what describes you best, for example an individual or a church leader.
• If you add them: your city or town, your church or organisation, and your email address.
• Your agreement to receive your Expo details and offers on WhatsApp, with the time you gave it and the wording you saw.
• The page you registered on, any referral code or campaign link you arrived with, and the type of browser you used.

We do not ask for payment details on this site. Purchases happen on LoveWorld Books, which has its own privacy notice.

Why we collect it

• To send your Expo details on WhatsApp before Expo day, as you asked.
• To send Expo offers on WhatsApp. You can stop these at any time.
• If you give an email address, to send you one confirmation email.
• To plan the Expo in each country, and to see which churches and links brought people to register.

Where we keep it

Your details go first to a secure short term store, which passes them to a restricted Google Sheet within minutes. The short term copy is deleted within 24 hours.

The Sheet is shared only with named people, never by a public link.

These services help us run the site: Vercel (hosting), Google (the Sheet), Upstash (the short term store), Cloudflare (the check that keeps out automated sign ups) and, if you give an email address, Brevo (the confirmation email). Some of them keep data outside your country.

Who can see it

A small, named team at LoveWorld Publishing: the online team that runs the site, the sales and partnerships team who follow up with you, and the Expo coordinators, who see the registrations for their own country.

How long we keep it

• Registrations: until 30 October 2027, 12 months after Expo day. Then we delete them or remove anything that identifies you.
• If you agree to hear about future offers: until you ask us to stop. We review this every 12 months.
• The short term store keeps a copy for 24 hours at most. Daily backups of the Sheet are kept for 30 days.

Stopping messages and removing your details

Every WhatsApp message and email from us tells you how to stop them. We act on your request within 7 days.

To see or remove your details, reply to any WhatsApp message or email from us and ask. We check it is you by confirming the number or email on your record, then remove your details within 30 days.
